This work investigates the performativity of language and its capacity to transition into a purely visual phenomenon. The installation functions at the threshold where text dissolves into image, challenging the static nature of linguistic structures through a recombinatory system.
As the spectator moves, the text undergoes a process of physical “editing,” generating shifting word compositions such as day-mare, day-light, night-mare, night-light, and light-light. The piece operates on a logic of paracinematic montage, where the transition between meanings is dictated by the viewer’s angle of vision rather than a timed projection. |
